    10 minute delivery of the code.

    When I entered the code into my 9700 as directed I received CODE ACCEPTED.

    Though I did NOT receive the service provider code for AT&T for my 9700 and when I type MEP alt 4 into the keypad, it doesn't ask for the SP code. Does AT&T not require one?

    now on the Personalization menu (SIM menu), the following are DISABLED
    Personalization: Disabled
    SIM: Disabled
    Network: Disabled
    Network Subset: Disabled
    Service Provider: Disabled
    Corporate: Disabled

    And with my Tmobile sim card in all I get is an SOS signal. What gives?

    EDIT: My mistake, the SIM card was not properly installed. Everything works great now!

    That's great, your phone is unlocked. AT&T 9700 doesn't require an SP code (just Bell & Telus 9700 do).

    Go to Options/Mobile Network and set it to 2G only. Then it is recommended to do a battery pull and you will be fine.

    hello, I would like to unlock my blackberry bold 9700 T mobile that has been locked due to non payment on my sisters account. Its a long story but she has gone round and round with them for a year over their lousy service and finally stopped paying on t mobile and went to metro who has great service here. I hate to see this phone she has spent over 245 in payments thus far go to waste. I have t mobile would i be able to unlock it and use it with t mobile or perhaps another carrier?

    hoping someone can help me me ex ran me through the ringer and then declared bankrupcy my phone got shut off from her bill so I want to switch to new carrier without buying new phone I have no credit card and paypal has been shut down I have a bb bold 9700 through bell mobility in ontario my ime number is 359564.03.338216.1
