If anyone can help it'd be much appreciated! I've spent hours scouring the internet trying to find a way to unlock this blackberry curve 8330 I inherited from a friend of mine. She had it with Verizon but I have at&t. Some people are saying it cannot be unlocked as there is no IMEI# only as ESN#; others say it can still be unlocked. I really would love to use this phone though. I've looked under the battery and it looks like a small place where a sim card could go but it doesnt open up so I'm guessing it does not operate off a sim card. Also, it lists the esn & pin numbers but there is no IMEI#.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can unlock this? Any website that says they can unlock it is asking for an IMEI# which I don't have.

    Any help is much appreciated!!!!

    Thank you!

sorry the 8330 is CDMA, the carrier you use it on must support CMDA, check under options>About or Status and you should see the IMEI, but since its a CMDA device ut may only have a ESN.

    Yeah, it's completely different technology.

You can't use a CDMA device on a GSM network.
