Unfortunately right now some will unlock but most won't. Just have to wait for them to fix or go to another carrier

I'm in the same situation. Purchased codes from BlackberryCodeSource.com, neither of which worked. Apparently they've contacted Koodo/Telus to seek help, waiting for a response. Down to 6 attempts, this is really frustrating. Anyone have any insight into what might be going on?

I'm in the same boat; tried most of the suppliers but got the same non working code. It seems that there is a problem with the Telus/Koodo database because a user on this forum had gotten a code directly from Koodo and like others, it did not work. Be careful with the remaining tries because after it hits 0, the device cannot be unlocked anymore.
We just need to sit tight and wait till this issue is resolved. I hope it is soon!!

Choose the (Any, not listed) option from crackberry unlocking. And enter the MEP2 code they send you. It cost me 150$ but it worked!

Exactly on the same boat as you. I found they posted it somewhere in the forum saying to try get another unlock code in 1-2 weeks. I wonder if they will ask us to video to proof that it does not work as it will waste our attempts and risking hard locking.

Hi, this is not my company and I don't work for them, I am simply a satisfied customer! Like I said I tried 3 different unlock code providers and they came back with the same code that did not work.

I'm not going to pay $139 to unlock the phone, that would negate the cost benefit of having purchased from Koodo in the first place. Apparently it's a problem with the database itself, so once that's been fixed the solution should be available from all the resellers.

Why does it cost over 100 to get a number?

because they have to access RIM's database to get those numbers, which i assume cost a lot more

It's possible the code they gave you didn't work. When I used QuickPhoneUnlock.com the first code they gave me didn't work because the algorithms were different on a Z10 or some other technical thing I don't understand.

But they did manage to get me a working unlock code setup for me in the end, so I'd highly recommend them if you can't get this one sorted out.

Have you contacted the vendor you bought the code from and asked them to help you out?
