Hi gsm_dealer08, Im a new BB user, I have been given a 9720 but it is Network locked here in the UK, can you possible provide a MEP2 Unlock code?
    MEP: 06424-002
    PRD: (RDV) 57183-044
I managed to generate an MEP2 code using a free service but the no (7321212048620430) is not being accepted by the phone.

    Hope you can help.

    Bob.

yes. Follow this tutorial: BB Escreen Calc Keygen - Unlock Blackberry

As for debranding, depends on what you mean by debranding. It is possible to remove network custom software and themes just by installing a generic OS for your device. If you mean the start up screen, that is simpli impossible.

What tool did you use for debranding? I remember I tried that a few years back but people were saying the start up logo can not be changed since it's on a part of the memory that can not be modified. If you când get the MEP info, give me the network name and country, that sometimes helps.

Interesting. Last I heard of that people were saying it is some sort of stolen software from RIM and was not meant for general public. Maybe they used the code to make this tool, who knows. But this looks like a paid feature, right? I'd be interested in debranding some of my old BB

MEP is mostly needed for unlocking purposes. IF you google your phone model, carrier name and country, you will often find it on forums. Per example Blackberry 9900 Vodafone UK MEP
