A friend of mine gave me her old AT&T 8310 for my wife to use until our contract with T-Mobile expires in July. We had the 8310 unlocked, inserted her (T-Mobile) SIM card and everything seems to work fine; however, the e-mail addresses of my friend as well as my friends entire address book are still on there. NONE of my wife's contacts are in the address book.

I did delete her e-mail addresses but wonder how we put my wife's contacts in there and delete my friend's? Can I do this through the BB desktop software? How about wiping the 8310 without my wife's SIM card in there?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Just go into options>security>wipe handheld>

Contacts don't transfer unless they were previously saved on her sim card.

Or delete them one by one if bored

For your friends privacy, I suggest a full wipe using the instructions above.

Depending on where you're trying to get your wife's contacts from will be able to tell us how to get them on the BB 8310. ie. if they're off an old phone, copy them to the sim and they'll transfer over. If they're on outlook, you can copy them over viaa desktop manager, etc.
