Brand new to the crackberry.com, blackberry user for almost a year. My local carrier, Cincinnati Bell, is adament about not giving out the subsidy unlock code. I understand why because their service is terrible and if they gave out he codes they would have no more customers. Anyway, what is the cheapest unlocking service out there. I love my 8100 and would like to take it to AT&T but don't want to pay $50-60 to have it unlocked, plus an activation fee from AT&T. Is that as cheap as it gets? thanks

I am needing to know the same information. I already have AT&T service but I had to get a new BB and it was from Cincinnati Bell. They will not give me the unlock code for my phone so I can switch the sim card to the new phone. Is there any other way to get it?
