Sorry to say but this does seem a very suspect question from a newbie with a single post.

Why is the imei number blocked on the phone? Surely this would be an action taken usually in response to a phone being reported stolen or lost?

If the phone is yours then call your mobile operator and ask them to remove the block if you have re-discovered a lost phone. However if it has been replaced as a lost/stolen handset under insurance then the phone will belong to whoever the insurer is.

Call the carrier if that blackberry is yours. If it isn't, it'll just be a qwerty phone without data services. If you bought it off craigslist or ebay, you're out of luck!

Only your mobile operator can help you to remove that block, if this cell belongs to you....
    Otherwise its your hard luck....
