    Ok, I have no problem with EDGE (at least not completely) but I have t-mobile's flex pay and I want to take advantage of the 3g. But I am only getting EDGE. I don't want to get rid of the 9000 for the 9700 because I love the 9000 so much. Is there any option for me or am I stuck with EDGE with the unlocked 9000?

    I knew that would be the response I got. Would it work with at&t 3g?

    Rogers version of the Bold works fine with AT&T, had no issues roaming when I was in the US. AFAIK there is only one type of Bold 9000 out there, though there might be something special about the one sold in Japan. It's not like the Bold 9700 where there's two different radios under the same model number.

    this topic has no end .. do a search, especially on the TM forum

    On the 9000 (any vendor 'locked' or 'unlocked'):
    TM=EDGE
    ATT=2G or 3G

    that's it ..
    there ain't no more ...
    now, and into the near future
