    I unlocked a bold from Rogers tonight..

    I put my Bell sim card in it (the new HSPA network)

    It work fine.. it detect the bell network, and are able to make call..
    but.. nnext to Bell, there is a triangle.. telling that i'm roaming..?

    Any idea why?

    Its because the phone is a rogers branded phone... Since its not connecting to the rogers network it THINKS its roaming. Not to worry, its on the bell network, and not actually roaming...

    It should work with the data.. But you have to phone bell and have APN added to your account. Then you have to add the proper settings for it in options, advanced options, and then tcp/ip. it should be something like bb.bell.ca

    This is the way i got my data working with telus, on my bold 9000. But make sure you call customer service and get the blackberry tech support. They should be able to help you there.. Dont forget to log into your BIS site, and change your imei and pin there. that site i think is bell.blackberry.com
