We regret to inform you that we can not calculate your unlock code. We apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Rest assured we will go ahead and refund your funds to your original payment source. Refunds can take up to three business days.
Double, triple, quadruple checked the submitted IMEI. Anyone successfully unlock an AT&T Q10 and if so, through which vendor?

Yep...I got the unlock code for my Q10 from AT&T...and yes, I am still under contract.

I believe he did but the 3rd party service couldn't provide him an unlock code based on the IMEI he submitted.

@Bob80220: How did you make your request to AT&T? I was outright refused and turned away. I dont want to have to threaten to move my mobile services away from them...

See if AT&T has support reps specifically for blackberry. When I was with T-Mobile the regular support rep couldn't find the IMEI for my branded Q10 in their database. I called back and asked for blackberry support and that rep had no problem.

First, it definitely helps if you've been an AT&T customer for a long time. Secondly, I do a substantial amount of international travel and I stress the importance of having the ability to get local cell service with a provider when I'm in country. Lastly, I approach this request with a confident and pleasant attitude...never threatening to leave AT&T. I ask to be transferred to a tech specialist when I explain to the customer service representative why I'm calling. I have always been able to get the unlock codes for my BlackBerries either over the phone or emailed to me within 24 hours

That was the very approach I employed just now when I requested an unlock code through AT&T tech support (case creation). Over 14 years with AT&T (since before Cingular), I'll give it until Monday evening, hopefully an unlock code will be sent my way.

Hopefully you will have the same success as I've always experienced. I've been with AT&T since 1991 and when I have an issue or a request, I respectfully and politely point that out. It has always proven to get results.

Called in to verify the case status...Approved! Their billing system only shows me as a customer since 2005 which was the year we went with a bundled family plan (five devices + residential) vs our previous unbundled plan. Thanks again all. Just waiting on the email...

Nice!!! I have found the same when they check the records. But I do know they are able to verify when you first signed on with AT&T...I guess it takes a little more digging into the archives...hahaha I'm glad things appear to be working in your favor. Often times how you present your request will provide the results you want. I read too many times how people get somewhat hostile towards the customer service reps and rant about how they are going to change providers, etc thinking this will get their request met...some people need to learn their manners.
