As title says I enter my home, or near any and my signal is lost. I unlocked it as it was locked to Vodafone, which got signal fine. I'm on the 3 network and had signal indoors fine before changing to this phone. I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to boost my signal or if i'm missing anything within the settings. It's still rockin' the 4.6 platform, I'd update but the wireless update option isn't there either...

I would upgrade to 5.0 and see if you see a difference.

so let me get this right, you are on the 3 network.
you switched to a different phone (the 8520)
and now you dont get a signal in your house.

What was the old phones make/model
    internal/external antenna?
do your friends/family get a signal in your house with a similar bb on the same network?

a OS might help with it, but id try a different SIM as well.

Old model is the Nokia E63
How do I find that out?
Nobody else has a phone on the 3 network, but as stated there's no problem on my old phone

I'll update the OS and go from there, thanks guys

Believe it or not, a sim card can be the issue if its a different phone.
Id call 3 and tell them about your issue, and ask them to send you a replacement sim.
