    has anyone attempted to unlock and use a tmobile 8320 bb and use it with boost mobile for just the $50 unlimited plan and if so has it worked

    It cannot be done. Boost is a CDMA carrier, and T-Mobile is a GSM carrier. The hardware is for GSM cannot be used on CDMA networks.

    Boost, Cricket, etc. all require flashing, which is different than unlocking. If you do get your hands on the proper phone you might want to check out HowardForums for more information on flashing.

    Boost uses cdma iden technology. Sorry it will not work.
