The UEM12.9 release came out today and has a good laundry list of updates.

-entrust identityguard credential support.
-new android and iOS policies and controls
-preset user / pass for zero touch enrollment
-further event notification controls and options
-And most importantly, the final consolidation of both the Dynamics dB into uem dB, and control service into the UEM core service!!

Just curious, what's the Dynamics DB? I only know of UEM/Control/BEMS DBs.

So no more control service under 12.9?

Not sure if's just me, but I often have trouble stopping the core service under 12.7

Sorry, Dynamics DB = Control DB

Correct, control service is supposed to be depreciated and functions merged into the core service

Downside is if you are in a state where your 12.7/12.8 cannot sync control DB with uem, such as if you are not connected to AD, then you can't currently run the 12.9 upgrade.
Their current workaround is fresh install on new server and migrate everything over.
