My favorite free theme is called section 8 because there are 8 customizable icons on the bottom in addition to a center icon for bberry weathers apps. It has two additional slots on top next to the built in options, clock, calendar, browser, manage connections, and wifi icons. The $ key is to quick start sms. Very functional

Section 8 by NiteWalker in the 9700 themes thread! Hands down THE BEST free theme out there today! I've tried 'em all and I can't find one better than this! He also made a custom version for me and it is just amazing. The attention to detail is unreal for a FREE theme. The menus and pop ups are all transparent black and it is a beautiful touch. I strongly suggest checking it out!

I find myself switching back and forth between section 8 and precisionberry. Section 8 is very functional, and I love it. Wish it had a hidden dock though. Precisionberry has the hidden dock, but top icons are fixed and no QL to spacebar. Both are great, but find myself using section more since I found it.

I'm loving the Modern Warfare 2 theme I found floating around. Fits my bill and is fun to show off to my friends who then start drooling over my phone. Take the theme and throw in the "Transformers" transforming sound effect and I'm hot stuff. I've got maturely immature friends.

This was my favorite theme on the 9700, but for a Tour on cdma it loses some functionality. Where ATT was on the top that launched a browser is now blank on my Tour and doesn't launch anything and another part of the top bar doesnt work. I posted and sent him a PM asking if he could/would do that exact theme for the Tour but I never got a response. I absolutely loved that theme on my 9700 and would love to have it working correctly on my Tour.

Is the custom version he made for you meant for a Tour or a 9700?

BBampd by Natemz. However, I tried using this after upgrading to OS 5.0 and seems compatibility is now an issue. When I changed the main wallpaper, it made the application screen background, solid white.
