a couple kinda-dumb questions (i'm new to BB. new to themes. double whammy)

1. what is the big "7" in the first screenshot in the background? is that part of the wallpaper? is it the date? is it a result of what's been scrolled over? i'm confused. am i missing something cuz that area looks 'busy'. i could toatlly be wrong.
2. i the second screenshot, is the bottom row showing placeholders? ie in 'real life' would they be smaller versions of the icons showed in the first screenshot or would it really show as-is?

1. Its just a wallpaper you can change it to whatever you want.
2. Its a hidden dock. It just shows us, the developers, where the real icons will show up. Your top 6 icons on your app page will be shown there not those place holders.

I love this theme, but its too bright for me. Looks like bleach was splashed on my screen. And I can't tell if I have selected yes or no most of the time. Maybe a little more contrast in that area.

Probably because the boxes are together you can seperate them though, just go to your options in the inbox.

I love the icons...but there a way to have only the icons? I am not sure about the white banner at the top and when I go in to options my words are too faint. Also on my home screen I wish there was an underlay so I could see which icon I was on.. I know I am picky. Thanks.
