Hi,
I read some info on this here, but I was not sure it applied to the Tour.

I would like my phone to ring and vibrate when I get a call.
I would also like it to just vibrate (no sound) when I get an email message.

Is this possible? According to Verizon, it is not. If the ringer sounds are turned off for email alerts, they must also be turned off for phone calls.

This sound ridiculous. I previously had the 8830 and had things set up this way.

Im having sort of the same issue, i cant get my sounds and alerts to ring more than once.

I re-downloaded Blackberry Alerts. You might try that, unless someone else has another idea.

You can at least set colored flashing notifications. So I now have my phone ringing, with a colored alert for voicemail messages. For emails, there is no sound or vibrating, but I at least have another colored flashing light. You can also add more color notifications for other things, such as sms, missed calls, etc.

Still seems I can't have the phone ringing and also email message notification vibrating without sound (while the phone ringer is set to on). Pretty confusing.
