I was in the middle of texting when the screen on my blackberry tour suddenly went black and the red light started to blink. I've taken out the battery and tried charging the phone and nothing is working. I also tried to reset it using the Blackberry Manager on my computer. However, it doesn't detect my phone since it won't turn on.
Any suggestions?
What you need to do is download the OS for your Tour and install in on your pc.

Run loader.exe via C:/ > Program Files (x86) > Common Files > Research in Motion > apploader
Click next and you should see a Connection drop box.
Remove the battery and plug it into your pc. When the blackberry is detected it should shows your PIN in there and then click next and replace your battery. This should reinstall the OS on your BB. However I hope you have a previous back up as the info may no longer be there in the mmemory after the install
