unfortunately no,, i reckon its more on the demand of operator's request rather than RIM itself since it tend to rely heavily on the verizon wcdma EVDO network,, however despite the lack of wifi,,imo the best form factor of all bb available

It will be here soon. The Tour2 "Essex" is on the way of being released soon. It's the new Tour with trackpad and wifi.

are all carriers getting the wifi tour? Sprint rep told me last night they are....just not totally sold on staying with sprint at this moment..lol

I believe CDMA is slowly on its way out. Bell and Telus will keep their cdma network on for a while but should be going completely hspa in the future.
