First brand new smartphone I'm buying (got my first smartphone, WinMo XV6800, used 6 months ago). Been out of contract for 6 months now, and there's nothing all that excited coming to Verizon later this year. I'll wait 2 years for the WebOS, and/or Android to mature. In the meantime, I'll take the latest and greatest CDMA BlackBerry.

Yea I've been waiting for an updated blackberry other than the Storm. I was sorta envious of AT&T when they got the bold then the curve, but now I so excited for the Tour. Verizon BB users will finally have something else then the storm.

I went to att months ago because I wanted the bold bad. I hated the network so I retuned it and paid the re stock fee. Now the tour is like the bold but better and I don't have to go to att. I'm sick of the storm.

I see no point in getting all hyped up over a phone, unless if u got money to easily throw away. Some people mention that the curve is an old phone (2yrs) what you gone do when the tour is out for 2yrs? Buy another one right? Its just a cycle that never has an ending. Oh well congrats to those who are getting the phone.

the real reason that I am getting the Tour is that I love the Bold but hate AT&T. the Tour is the ultimate hybrid which will get me closer to the look of the Bold but still have the feel of my curve.
