The operating system uses about half. Not much you can do about it. Delete apps you don't need.

so in researching getting a blackberry, i kept seeing all these things about how quickpull is such a necessity. i have 95.5 mb of app memory free with all the following installed:

i love blackberry

i have three or four apps open most of the time. my battery is always dead by 7 but i've never dipped below 85 mb!

Even if you DO have to do a batt pull just to freshen tthings up, I just go the ALT + RIGHT ****+DEL to do a sys reset, way better than having an app take up mem
