Running the same and I only get about 12-14 hours with just moderate use. I'm used to the day and a half with heavy use on my 8330! I know others have better luck with their batteries though. I bought mine on ebay and will be selling this one and probably using my upgrade for a brand new Tour.

It depends on how I use mine, but it can be like 12-18 hours usually depending on if I use Slacker Radio or not pretty much.

I can go a whole day with txting calls and bbm and the odd fb and have about 50% left but its weird a five minute call would deplete my battery like 4-8% and to me that's not normal.

I can get about a days use out of my tour before I have to put it on the charger. But I use it heavily through out the day between calls, text, bbm, applications, web browsing and media. So about average for it

    And I'm running 4.7

I'm going with the 2600 Mah battery which I just purchased. I hear you can get 3-4 days with this battery, and it only extends the phone out 3mm.

Listening to Pandora drains my battery pretty fast, so I need this battery.

What's weird for me is that on a normal day of texting, listening to music for about 30 minutes and a few short phone calls, I'd still come home with about 60% battery. I sit here now with 20% and falling fast. The only difference is I now use BBM instead of texting one of my friends. Just ONE person. Could this be causing my drain? That would be my conclusion but who knows...

I'm running the official Sprint OS 5.0 on my Verizon Tour and it's much better than 4.7, the memory management is night and day. I have the Sedio 1600 mAh battery that works with the factory Tour door, but the life is definitley better than when I was on 4.7, for me at least. The day after I installed I had a pretty good battery drain going, the day after it was great. It definitley works for me until Verizon officially releases OS 5.0 for the Tour...

My battery lasts about 24 hours with light use, 12 hours with medium use, and 6-8 hours with heavy use. Mostly medium and heavy use days lately. Running .484 and very few apps. Tour is about 7 mos old. Maybe I should look into the beefier battery.

Maybe many of you have figured this out already, but in the interests of sharing...

I picked up a Tour the other day as a replacement for an old 8830WE. The battery would only last about 12 hours before needing to be charged. This was much different from my 8830WE where I could go a few days.

I came across two threads yesterday identifying possible culprits. I made both changes and am happy to say I am now halfway through my second day w/o charging and still at half a charge. Unfortunately, I'm not sure which change made the biggest impact.

    1. Set GPS to 911 only.

    2. BBM 4.7 was rumored to have a memory leaking causing battery drain. I upgraded to the latest BBM 5.0.x over app world.

I previously changed my network from Global to 1XEV but only noticed about a 2 hour extension in battery life. But after the two changes above, I'm rocking.

I will change my GPS setting back tomorrow and see if battery life goes back to crap, but I'm hoping it was the BBM.
