I am trying to set up an account at rhe BIS site. In order to create it I am asked for my devices PIN number and an ESN/MEID. Under my battery I can clearly see the PIN, however, no ESN/MEID; there is an MEID HEX, an MEID DEC, and an pESN HEX. Does anyone know which of these numbers I need to use?

My PIN has 8 characters and every number that is preceeded by either MEID or ESn has either less than or more than 10 characters.

Go to Options, then Status. All your phone ID information is there.

Either one should actually work... the MEID should be the number with an a followed by some 0's... the hex is an 11(?) digit number. Enter one of those with your PIN to set up the account. If this is a new phone and you already had a BIS account, you could just pull the info from old phone and switch it. If still having issues, call into VZW tech. It can be fixed in like 5 minutes.

Any idea why I get an error message telling me I cannot login to my account by way of HTML, only by way of the device? BTW, how do I login with my BB? Sorry about all the questions, just really new to the BB world. Thanks.

You would need your pin and esn number. If that doesn't work just call Sprint Tech Support they will set up your user name and password. I had that same problem last week. Tech Support was able to set my account up for me. After that I was able to log into my Bis account via web and BB
