I want to start out by saying that I have NO new information, I mean for this thread to be fun speculation. Theres a lot of us waiting for this awesome new blackberry to come out and maybe this will help pass the time.

I doubt that Niagara will be the real name when the 9630 is released... all the long "code names" seem to be dropped for catchy one syllable replacements. That said I could always be wrong and maybe it really is Niagara. Personally I think it will be changed. The only thing I can base a guess on would be the thunder-storm transition, because the other code names didn't really correspond with the final name. So I'm thinking possibly a catchy one syllable word referring to something water-like as in Niagara Falls.

Could it be the wave? surf? rush?
I don't know... just getting bored of reading the same threads, anyone else care to chime in?

Well...let's see. Storm's codename was Thunder, which is an aspect of a storm, so if we apply that same type of reasoning to Niagara, we can come up with something like...gooverfallsinabarrel...rolls right off of the tongue.
