I recorded a short video, about 15 seconds and when I go to play it, i get this error msg:

"The media being played is of an unsopported format."

I've never had a problem recording and playing videos before, and it works now if I try. Does anyone know how I can play this video back?

There have been a few messages along similar lines. I don't recall the resolution.

You could try pulling the battery from the phone while it is ON. Leave out for 30-45 seconds and try again.

hm, I have been using my video camera quite a bit lately and everything has worked perfectly, matter of fact I took a 5 minute video on this past saturday and it plays perfect on my tour and when i put it on my pc

the weird thing is it worked fine before and it works fine now, just this one video doesnt work

my phone used to do that all the time on os 114, it hasn't happened yet on 148 or 167.

do you have your media card encryption on? I believe my Curve had that issue when media card encryption was on. Couldn't access any videos made when it was on.

As for sending/receiving to/from other phones, I think the OS needs to be similar. IE my curve (OS4.5.x) wouldn't play video from a friend's Bold but my Tour (OS4.7.x) plays that same video no problem.

Just some random musings.
