I've had my BB Tour for three months and i absolutely love it. But recently whenever im at work and i put my phone on vibrate and my brother calls me it rings very loud. Why do you suppose this is? Its annoying because i cannot trust it. Please help. Thank you.
Check your profiles. You might have set a custom ringtone for your brother. Make sure that the option "Use active profile except for calls from (brother's name)" is not checked. You would have to uncheck his name for it to vibrate. You would do that by setting vibrate profile, then clicking advanced and unchecking the box "calls from (brother's name)".
Not sure if the Tour and Curve work the same way, but try going into your Phone Profiles (Vibrate, Normal, Quiet, Phone Only, etc.) and put your phone on Vibrate. Then, in that same menu, click on ADVANCED and edit your VIBRATE mode to ensure that the settings haven't been changed from Vibrate to Tone or Vibrate + Tone.
