Did anyone else get a nice surprise when they bought their Tour at Best Buy and it was only $99.99? I was expecting it to be about $100 more. Perhaps my local store messed up or there was a glitch in the system.

My receipt states:
VZW BLACKBERRY TOUR
REG 699.99 WITH 600.00- DOLLARS OFF

I was confused when I got my total, but didn't say anything. I feel a little guilty and happy at the same time. I had a $50 GC, so I got the Tour for about $50.

Anyone else experience this?

New line. They didn't have any pricing anywhere in the store, so that's why I was suprised. Pretty sweet deal, if you ask me.

I'm shocked that's what they are going for. I'm really glad I didn't pre-order through Verizon. I did do the Best Buy pre-order thing. I think I was the only one at my location that did though.

How does BB do an upgrade? Do they have access to be able to see if you are due for one? I am 10 days away from my 1 year upgrade VIP will BB still do it as I was going to call Verizon Customer Service and talk to them direct about upgrading since through email they said no?

Yep, they ask for your phone number and password and can get directly into your account details.

It is still cheaper to cancel ur phone 175 at most and then pay 99$ for a new activation at best buy. 175 at most for early term+35 activation plus 99 for phone 309 dollars!

How is that cheaper than going through Customer service and getting it at 149.00 after using my 50.00 1 year VIP credit. I am sure if I call I will get an upgrade early. The reasons for my wanting to do BB is that I can see the phone first in person to see if the back is loose.
