I've read all the forums regarding playing my tour in my car. Sounds like my best solution is through an aux jack. However, my car is currently wired for my sirius satellite radio which is not built into the car instead on a docking station. I was wondering if there is any way to use what is already there to play my phone in my car? Not really car audio savvy!
If there is no AUX jack on either your Sirius radio or your car audio system you may be out of luck.
If you have a cassette deck, you can get an adapter that looks like an audio cassette, plugs into the cassette deck, and has a jack hanging out to plug in your BB to listen to music. That is what I did on my old car, but I just upgraded to a new one to get an AUX jack and built-in BlueTooth!
I picked up a cassette adapter at a discount store for about $3.
Look up the Motorokr T505. I just got one yesterday and it works great. It uses your Tour's A2DP to stream music through an FM transmitter to your car stereo.

Which Sirius unit do you have? Some of them have standard headphone jacks, so you may be able to plug the audio cable into your BB. My Starmate Replay was like that.
If the problem is ur sirius is occupying ur only aux jack then just get a fm transmitter for ur sirius and then ur aux will b free. Otherwise what I am liking right now is a bluetooth audio streaming set-up it requires a new radio (at the very least) but as soon as u get into ur car the phones already connected and u can stream music and also have ur hands free calls!

I bought a Monster wireless fm transmitter. Works very good, plays very loud. $60 from Radio Shack. You just plug it into the cigarette lighter.

I am not sure if my touch screen radio will work with my bb tour.. where is the aux thing? lol. sorry. I do not know anything about cars..
Auxillery jack is 3.5mm, looks just like the headphone jack. You get a double ended cable and it's the simplest way of playing your phone's music via your car stereo. If you don't have aux, your car will have either a cassette or if all else fails, FM receiver.

One thing to add to my earlier post: the T505 also is a speakerphone that allows you to hear your conversation through your car's speakers. It pauses the music when a call comes in and resumes when you end your call.
It also has a function that searches for the most open FM frequencies and tells you to tune your radio to match.
I guess that was two things :-P

Yes it will. If your radio has bluetooth, you can usually play music through that as well, I know I do and love it

My car (GM) only connect through blue tooth for phone, and through the AUX jack for media player. Is there a way to get it to connect through bluetooth to play media as well?
Another option for this is the Jabra SP700. Similar to the Motorola mentioned above, it works great. Bluetooth speakerphone, plays music pretty nicely through A2DP or via FM (though I find that sucks in the NYC Metro area, YMMV).
