    Hey,
today im getting a new tour, and i have a curve and have 90+ bbm contacts which i would like to transfer over without doing it manually. I have heard some bad things about DSW, so can someone give me a suggestion if i should use it or not?

also, do you use it before or after activation?

I used it trouble free after activation. Transfered all my contacts, etc without a hitch.

I used it to migrate from my Curve before activating the Tour. Worked flawlessly, even faster than a reset. Even moved the bookmarks on my Opera Mini browser! Can't speak highly enough about it.

    Definitely use it.
For best results with bbm contacts, do it after activation.

Worked fine for me, going from a pearl to a tour but I had some problems with addresses. It took everyones home address and made it a work address. Minor problem, but kind of annoying.

I never had issues with it. You can use DM to pick and choose what it is you want to move over and/or backup/restore.

Ok, that's not entirely true. I was using DM to upgrade the OS on my Bold once, and we had a power outage in the middle of the upgrade, and it bricked out my device. That's the only issue I had, and it was obviously not DM's fault.
