I know there has been speculation as to the price of the new Tour coming out to VZW. My question is does anyone have any idea how much it will be if my contract is ending and I am up for upgraded discounts. Im not the primary number on my plan so I dont get the New every 2 deal.

I guess this could be a generic question about Verizon plans and not just the tour.

If anyone has any input that would be great.

thanks for the reply. what about in general though? does anyone know what the standard discount is on a line after the contract is up? i heard something like 50 or 70 off. does this apply to brand new phones on the market?

but the company also subsidizes differently on different phones sometimes..

I honestly can't see it being more than $200 since the Tour is basically a Storm with a keyboard and a bit more app memory. At least I'm hoping it's the same as the Storm since I'm gonna be buying it retail for hopefully $500 =/

its going to be more then 500 retail for sure without a doubt..

the storm was 599 originally retail and now its 549.00

I can promise it will be more then 500..

since you are a secondary line you only get whatever the 2yr promotion is. only the primary phones gets the additional discount.

I'm pretty sure you can get a discount. But if not, just sell your phone and buy the new one

the only way that you can get a discount is if the primary will give you theirs thats it sucks to be a 9.99 line for both consumer and sales

I hope it does come in no higher than that price, but the info referenced is old and unreliable IMHO.
