Do I just hit delete or is there a way to properly uninstall stuff like on a pc?

Delete it from the applications list. You should then be prompted to reset your device.

You can uninstall on the device without the PC.

Go to Options>Advanced>Applications

When it lists your apps, highlight the one you want to delete.

Hit the menu button and then select Delete.

When it's done, it might as you if you want to reset your device. You should do it and let it delete all the files.
