So I was having problems with one of my web based email accounts and POP/STMP so I removed it from my Blackberry Internet Service email manager and re-added it.
Now the icon on my Tour shows up as an ugly green and says "AOL" on it...it isn't even an AOL email!
Anyone know how to get it back to the simple, white outlined envelop? I am using the Verizon Precision Zen theme.
Delete the Service Book on the device for that email address . Then resend the Service Books again either from your BIS or from the Email Settings icon on the device.

So weird, when I do that it works at first, but once I select that mailbox and then go back to the homescreen, the green envelop with "AOL" on it returns.
My understanding is that the Service Books determine this image. Is this just something that Verizon/RIM have changed and I have no way to change? If so, suppppppper lame!
Somehow in the settings, the BIS must be mistakenly picking it up as an AOL account. And looking through Mail.com's corporate page, they aren't associated with AOL in any way.
You might send an email to mail.com's tech support and see if they have heard of other BlackBerry users having this issue.
