I am interested in turning the radio off momentarily. Is anyone aware of how to disable the radio (not data services) without entering bedside mode? I can't seem to find a particular setting where I have the option to turn the radio off or on. I remember a couple phones I've had in the past that had an 'airplane' mode, which was basically designed to disable the radio while allowing you to continue using all other functions as normal.

Go to the "Manage Connections" icon...

Yeah under manage connection just turn off your radio.

Ah, Duh! I forgot about that icon. I had it hidden and buried in a folder.

Just what do you turn off?
My guess is you don't want to turn of ALL CONNECTIONS

I turn off my radio often, and its a pretty convenient feature in QLaunch ..

If you turn your radio off, you lose both phone and data, unless of course you have Wifi which unless you have prerelease Tour 2, your BB doesn't have WiFi.

The problem with this is I forget to turn it back on...."Radio Saver" solved that problem. Great app for those of us who ride NYC subways.

Radio Saver was definitely worth the $3 to me! Some areas of the hospitals I work in get crappy reception. I set it to turn the radio off for 10 minutes and then recheck. Saves a lot of battery. (running the 7.11 hybrid on tour)
....I don't work for the company that makes that program either
