Does anyone know how to turn off the Global prompt when you power a Tour on running OS 4.7.1.57 ???

That"s where it is set. Every time it powers up the prompt says (you have inserted a sim card.Would you like your BlackBerry to automatically select CDMA or GSM base on the network availability?) (yes) or (no) ? Anymore ideas? Greatly appreciated.

I have had this thing since July . Choose YES and it never prompt's you again ooP's I guess I was having a BLOND moment.

NO! now when you go in to Manage Conections/Mobile Network Options/Network Technology it defaults to Global. I thought you had to have 1XEV selected here for the best data connection or the fastest or something like that???

    UPDATE:
Set it to 1XEV, turned it off and on again it defaulted to 1XEV. So this is good, all good.

Me too. For some reason I thought if you chose yes that it would always roam for GSM and CDMA network's using more battery power. So I always chose NO and it prompted me every time it powered ON.
