i am trying to follow the blackberry 101 guide on how to upgrade but i cant get things to work following those directions. if any one knows of a better guide or and easier way to install it let me know pleas

i am trying to follow the blackberry 101 guide on how to upgrade but i cant get things to work following those directions. if any one knows of a better guide or and easier way to install it let me know pleas

Step 1. Backup your personal info and 3rd party apps (use BBSAK for this)

Step 2. Remove all Old OS's from your PC through Control Panel as well as all OS files in Shared Program Files.

Step3. Download The OS to your PC then Install it after it downloads.

Step 4. After OS is finished installing go to Program Files>Common Files>Reasearch In Motion>AppLoader>Loader

Step 5. Run loader and load OS to your device.

Step 6. Restore 3rd party apps if necessary
