The trackball on my Tour has bocome VERY sluggish and is difficult to roll sometimes worse than others, even with the sensitivity turned up all the way. When it gets really bad I'll take a cotton swab with alcohol to it which works to ease the problem somewhat. Do I need to replace it or is there something else I can do.? Thanks all.

Perhaps you might try this. You'll need the following:
1 Conventional Drinking Straw (I prefer Boardwalks 10.25" White w/Red Stripes Model)
1 Utility Knife
Cut two slits lengthwise in the drinking straw approximately 1" to 1.5" inches in length and 1/8 to 1/4" in width. At this point, fold the "tab" created in the prior step backward. The rigidity of the drinking straw combined with the wall thickness is a perfect fit between the trackball and respective socket. You'll use the "tab" to clean the area.
