Well, lateley Ive been reading about people having issues with there trackball. Some said to do this............some said to do that. Pushing down on it hard and moving it around all the way to changing the sensativity.
For those that have. Lets fire away on this subject and see who could try to get the best feel.
Ok, Your all making me look bad hahaha. When there was so many people complaining about the trackball not moving correctly in certain ways and different things they have done to get it right. We need some of them to chime in and say what they have done to make it seem 'correct'.
I had the trackball issue in which it would physically lock up when trying to scroll to the right. Nothing to do with the OS. The ball physically would not move to the right at all. I took it back for another and I noticed the same problem starting to arise.
I basically just scrolled all over (not pressing real hard just with a little extra pressure.) The problem went away and has not come back so far.
Nice and smooth now. Trackball actually feels a little better/smoother over all than either one of them did out of the box.
it seems smooth, but I am a BB newbie. What is good trackball, and what isn't.
As I use it, it moves well, picks up the movement fine, but it does not have pin-point percision. when I track really fast in one direction (trying to move a document down on viigo or something) it feels like it skips a bit, and seems almost too sensitive, going left and right, up and down.
Could anyone describe the perfect trackball sensitivity feeling? Is that even possible?
The only issues that I have had is when I am typing the cursor jumps back. I know it is because of how high my sensitivity is. So I have made sure to keep an extremely steady hand and not bump into my trackball while blazing out my numerous emails or text messages.
Rule of thumb always keep your hands clean. Once your hands are dirty it can easily make the trackball dirty in turn no matter what your settings for the trackball it will just wont work.
