    Are you getting the 5 OS via the desktop manager via Verizon? If so, does this show up in the DM when I go to "update software" or do I have to download the file from Verizon?

    OS 5.0 for the Tour on Verizon is not out yet...

    But other CDMA Carriers have released 5.0

    Yes, Desktop Manager will prompt you to upgrade. You also might get an icon on the device telling you an update is available as well...
