I went into my local alltel store today to upgrade to a Blackberry Curve 8330. While my agent, a good friend, was in the back talking to his manager a UPS delivery man walked in a with a bunch of small boxes. When my agent came back from the storage room he was carrying the alltel branded tour. They had just received a shipment of their newest phones: HTC Snap and BB Tour 9630. He said it goes on sale tomorrow morning. He could not sell it to me today because they had not inventoried the tours nor did they even have a price point for them. Anybody else experienced this? My alltel here will be Verizon some day or another but tomorrow I will be going in and buying a BB tour on a Alltel plan. No idea on price but does it really matter?

Who saw this coming? From everything that i have ever heard the only alltel stores that were going to get the tours were those to be sold off to a company other than Verizon.
