    After only the second time used, my headset jack already went out

    It wouldn't be so frustrating if my previous Pearl did the same thing after little usage.

    Is there a known issue with these headset jacks?

    YES....DEF RETURN!

    I had same issue/s and I returned it and got a new one that works! IT IS a DEFECT. Return it and get a new one.
