A setting or something got changed on my Sync process and now I am missing quite a few contacts....now sure how this happened.

I have a backup from about 1 week ago, can I load that backup into my Tour and get the contacts back? If so how do I do that?

Go into your Contacts. Then go to the menu -> Filters. Make sure NOTHING is checked. If anything is checked that would be the only contact categories you would see.
