    Hi, noob here...
I have a question about syncing my calendar to my tour through the desktop manager...I'm wanting to enter calendar events on my laptop and have them synced to the phone. Is there any way to do that? I have a lot of appointments and am tired of trying to fat-finger them all into the Tour.
I know that for most of you this will probably be a no-brainer, but please be nice and help out a BB noobie! Thank you.

If you use Outlook (or Google), it syncs very nicely through DM to your phone. Once you have your phone hooked up to your computer and DM, you can set up your synchronization settings to sync with Outlook (or Google) right from the main menu.

    Best of luck!

If you use Google Calendar, I recommend putting Google Sync on your phone. This is a great application, and it eliminates the need to plug in. Additionally, if you use Gmail, it will also keep your Gmail contacts and your Blackberry contacts in sync over the air. This is great for multiple reasons, including management and accessibility.

I rely very heavily on my calendar, contact list, and tasks being in sync between my computer and my Blackberry. I used to be an Outlook junky, but Google Sync changed that for me. Now, I use Google Sync for calendar and contacts, and I use Milksync for tasks. I no longer plug my phone in to a computer ever. And, maybe the best part, it also functions like a constant backup for your data. Get a new phone, install Google Sync and Milksync, and all my information is right back on my Blackberry. It's great.

Go to Desktop Manager, and then to synchronize, click synchroniztion under the Configure tab, and then click the button that says synchronization, it should be the first. from there, it will pull up a wizrd that will guide u through the sync process

I have Google Sync on my phone, too... saves a lot of time connecting from DM to phone when it's much easier for me to do it ota. This is totally awesome on my TOUR!
