I've noticed that the audio quality is much better from the video camera mode versus the voice notes recorder. Shouldn't the microphone perform similarly for both applications? Is there a way to improve the voice notes quality without having to basically 'film' audio material to get something that isn't distorted? I've looked everywhere for some kind of audio recording/conditioning/equalizing app for Blackberries, but to no avail.
The audio component of the video might actually be a higher quality/higher bitrate than the voice recorder. In addition, there is some difference since there are reports by folks that while the voice recorder works, they get NO sound on their video - so there are different aspects to those audio elements.
