I just got my replacement. Everything is perfect except that the top buttons mute/lock dont CLICK. They just depress and come out. Anyone else have a similar experience?
And the trackball is LOUD. Its goes further in to click and is seriously LOUD.
I have the same issue with mine, and mine is brand new, just got it two weeks ago. So it could just be the newer "fixed" tours, I can't say whether or not the old tours top buttons were clicky, but I do know that mine are mushy compared to the 8900
Edit- I meant the newer tours in general, including refurbs

my soft buttons on top were never clicky on any storms I had and including the Tours I have had. They dont click, they press down softly with no click... pretty normal
I hate the way the top buttons work on the tour. Stuck on there with weird tape and you have to press then fairly hard to get the to work. I wish some of that could be rethought.
As for advice or a fix for you... No clue. I just think the top buttons are weird and finicky. I rarely use them.
