So I recently switched out my Tours and I'm in the process of redownloading all my apps. I got BerryBuzz and UberTwitter, and on my last phone they installed themselves in the "Other" section in the ringtones/alerts menu. However, they're not there now, and I'm not sure why. Permissions are set to "allow" for everything, and I've done a battery pull to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
do you have a custom os loaded? i know after i downloaded the verizon os and slimmed it down and removed vendor.xml, my "other" alerts section no longer existed. once i got the legit sprint version and slimmed it down without removing vendor.xml, my alerts were back to normal.
The only thing I did was copy contents of my old media card onto my new one. I believe it did include some .xml files, but I don't know if vendor.xml was one of them. Nevertheless, it wasn't a custom OS or anything. But if I delete that vendor.xml would I be alright?
