Sometimes I have a text message or MMS message that failed to send which gives me a red X next to the status of the message. When I highlight the message and click the menu button, there is no Option to resend the message.

I know for a fact I used to have a resend Option because I used it before when messages have failed to send, but now all of a sudden I dont have the option to resend?

I am running 5.0.230 but even with that OS, I still had an option to resend, but now I dont. what am I doing wrong all of a sudden?

Don't all Blackberries automatically try to resend messages until it's delivered? The only time I've gotten a red X is if I put in an invalid recipient.

no they dont. if it failed with a red X, its up to you to resend it. I used to have the option to resend, but now its gone. I dont know how to get it back

Well I'm on 5.0.0.230 right now and I went back to one of my "red X" messages, there is no resend option.

Are you opening the message and then hitting Menu?
