So Telus and Bell just launched a new 3G+ network which uses Sim cards instead of CDMA.
Telus and Bell now have several Sim card phones like the iPhone, Blackberry 9700, Nokia N71 etc. They also now sell Sim cards.
In theory, wouldn't it be possible for me to use a Sim card in my Tour instead of their CDMA network? I'd like to be able to switch phones by transferring my sim card instead of having to do ESN swaps and paying each time?
I called Telus and they said no, but I think the rep just didn't know what she was talking about.
