I was texting yesterday and got to 0 characters left. Drat! Wait, let me try something. "Left shift, scroll up, menu button, copy" open an mms message "menu button, paste" viola! keep typing. This probably isn't a new trick but I thought it was pretty slick.

I am lazy, I like hitting just one button. Also, not everyone gets MMS messages and some people get charged differently for them.

Exactly. the $6 or whatever beyond160 costs, is more then worth it, with 1 or 2 years of convenience, or however long I keep my Tour.

I usually just sent one (160 SMS) out, then hit L on the one sent to quickly open a new sms message and continue on typing.

It is an issue with CDMA, not the OS.

I got Beyond160 on sale, so it was 50% off. I love it though. That, combined with QuickText, has made texting way easier.

Also, you keep Beyond160 forever I think. I know I switched it from my Curve to my Tour.

I kinda like having the 160 limit. Keeps from droning on forever via text, plus I get creative in thinking of ways to say all I want in just 160 characters.

I sent a text via MMS before but then realized that if the message is gonna be that deep then I might as well just call or email them.
