Sorry.... "Synced my contacts but Tour cant dial out or SMS using them"
This is so bizarre. I successfully backed up my 8330 and reinstalled on my TOUR..Synced all my info.. was beautiful..
BUT the weirdest thing is happening with my contacts. I can not dial out or SMS with the contacts as they are.. and as they have been forever wityh the curve.
Example.. # stored as 662-820-XXXX.. cant dial out or sms text but if they sms me, it shows up as their name and this very same format, i can reply back...
I get SMS error 96 message ID 56 Permanent Error
and if i dial out using a contact # it says the # i am dialing is not in service...
In the Tour go into the dialer like you're going to dial a number, then hit your menu key go to options. Then go to "Smart Dialing" and make sure all that information is correct for your area.
Thanks again AW..... It was the country code!! Weird bc my Curve had the same country code as the Tour had and I've never had one prob.. Oh well.. Fixed now! Thanks
