    8-10 minutes with 4.7.1.65
    About 5 minutes with 5.0.0.419

Both with a 8gb micro sd card loaded.

3:18 with os 5.0.0.419. Only thing that starts up on boot (other than the always running default apps + bbm) is google voice. I pulled the battery out for more than 30 seconds before the test.

I only have few apps on the phone (none except google voice starting up on boot) and only couple of default themes which came with 419.

did not shrink the os, did wipe before install.

I am curious to know the boot times of other recent BBs running OS 5.0?
bold/bold2/storm/storm2? is the problem only with tour or all the BBs have similarly long boot times?

Interesting how some reboot times are so different even on the same OS. I'm on stock and run just over 5 minutes on reboot. Will be interesting to compare that to the official 5.0 release.
Depends what you have installed and what is told to start when the phone is booted up...just like a computer.

Those ******** about having to restart when apps are deleted and installed apparently have never added software to or deleted it from a computer.

Mine takes about 1.5 to 1.75 mins to boot and I'm running OS 5.0.0.419. With the 5.0.0.230 hybrid I was running before boot time was about 3 to 3.25 mins. The new leak helped my boot times quite a bit.

    4.7 was about 6 - 8 minutes
.419 from batt insert to desktop 2.30 after 5 batt pulls 2.30 seems to be the best I'm going to get.

17 apps - - - skydeck, youmail and berryweather all set to start on boot up

18 meg saved after shrink putting 68 meg on device.

OK - first off, I have to have this app, and I am having trouble fininf a title "Memory Monitor" by searching. I get all kinds of stuff, but not this particular app. Can somebody point a lost soul the right direction?

Secondly: Running .419 with a complete wipe before install, boot took 3:13. 5 themes, 6 apps. With the original OS, it took well over 5 minutes.

    Hi!

I'm intersested to know how many minutes your Blackberry takes to start after a battery pull...

From the second you put the battery in it to the ''security verification'' end.

    Mine takes 5:32

    I'm running OS 5.0.0.419

    What's yours?
I'm running OS 4.7.1.57 with around 10 apps and mine takes approx 4 minutes to boot up. Not too shabby. When I loaded the .419 leak I was around 2-3 minutes with the same number of apps (then I took the leak off due to some random glitches I was getting)

no lie and my tour takes a full 16minutes to reboot. At one time it was 19 minutes. I hate that so much...

Running 4.7.1.57 startup on mine takes ~6.16.

If it makes any difference, on this restart I also deleted 2 themes and Opera Mini before restarting and I physically pulled the battery (i.e. did not use Quickpull)
