I have Sprint and I haven't had such problems.

i think ur pressing a button or two.... no problems with mines..
I'm pretty sure I'm not pressing any buttons because after I unmute, I place it down n it mutes again. I was wondering first if it was because I was using iPhone earphones (lol) but then it did it without an earpiece in. I'm just gonna monitor a few more days and if it contiues might have to call for a replacement. Just hope they don't try and give me refurbished

Do you put your phone near anything magnetic? My phone locks when I place it near the speakers on my laptop.
Not that I know of. Thanks though going to keep an eye out for that.
